Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Rose valley – Dades Gorge

  • Departure from your accommodation (Riad or Hotel or other) at 7:00 in the morning.
  • Crossing the pass of Tizi N’tichka and admire the Berber villages at the foot of the mountains, making stops each time is interesting.
  • Before a few kilometers from Ouarzazate, stop to visit on your own the famous Kasbah AIT BENHADOU which dates from the 11th century
  • Cross the city of Ouarzazate and continue towards the Dades Gorge through the ”Roses Valley“ and ”Oasis of Skoura” where an old Amazigh architectural treasure built by Mohamed Nassiri skouri ,at the end of the 17th century "Kasbah Amridil".
  • Stay overnight in Dades in a comfortable accommodation.
  • Optional hammam in the evening.

Day 2Dades Boumalne – Tinghir – Erg Chebbi

  • After breakfast, a walk in the gorges of Dades and continue, via a road of a thousand Kasbahs and crossing the village of Tineghir with its Jewish quarter.
  • Continue the journey to Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud.
  • Arrival at Merzouga and go on camel or foot to reach the feet of Erg Chebbi dunes where you will spend the night in a Berber tent in a well-equipped camp.
  • Ability to ride one of the highest dunes in the evening, followed by Dinner on rhythms of Drums and Berber songs
  • If the sky is cloudless, you will see the Milky Way in the sky.

Day 3Erg Chebbi – Merzouga –Ouarzazate

  • Get up early so you can watch the sunrise from top of dunes
  • After breakfast, Back to Merzouga and join your driver to continue the journey to Ouarzazate.
  • enjoy your trip to Ouarzazate from the second direction: Tazarine-Nkoub-Agdz to Ouarzazate.
  • Arrival at Ouarzazate and Stop to visit the Cinema Studios (the famous one in the city) before heading to one of the Kasbahs where you will spend the night ,with an authentic Berber dinner.

Day 4Ouarzazate – Marrakech

  • - Get up early to listen to the silence and the voice of the birds outside.
  • After breakfast, Back to join your driver to continue the journey crossing the Tizin’Tichka pass on the High Atlas to Marrakech (about 4 hours).
