Moroccan cuisine is one of the most formidable in the world. During your holidays in Marrakech, you will probably have tasted delicious tagines, captured the rich aroma of multiple spices, and discovered fantastic aromas in salads and side dishes. Now you can go a step further and learn how to cook these delicious dishes to try when you go home.

Learn how to prepare a Moroccan meal, make a real tagine, and learn the secrets of Moroccan salads made from cooked vegetables with various seasonings.  Finally, eat all the dishes you have prepared, and savor the fruits of your labor

Itinerary

1 Day trip

We organize a day trip from Marrakech.

Departure

Leave the hustle of Marrakech around 8h30 am and head towards the Atlas Mountains via the lush Asni scenic valley road for a day of culinary discovery, breathtaking scenery, and warm-hearted people.

An easy pick up from your Accommodation (hotel or Raid…).

Along the way

  • About 50 minutes drive from Marrakech
  • The First stop at the local Berber farmers’ market where you will choose vegetables, fruits, and herbs from local producers.
  • Once our shopping is done, we will drive to the Berber village to admire

Arrival

  • Arrival at the Berber family house, you will be greeted with traditional mint tea and Moroccan pancakes (nice breakfast). Then we get our hands on the cooking of a deliciously tasty meal under the guidance of the chef
  • Learn how to prepare a selection of Moroccan salads and a tagine of your choice, all made with organic and seasonal produces. The class is led by our chef.
  • While the tagine is gently cooking, you can relax in the garden or stroll in the nearby village, and then you can enjoy your lunch on the terrasse with superb views of the Atlas Mountains.

Return

The return will take place at 5:00 pm.
The driver will wait for you in the car until the return time.
